Lipford Creations built Flash Study as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how. Flash Study is designed to be privacy-friendly: your decks, cards, and study progress live on your device, and Lipford Creations does not operate any server that collects or stores your personal information.
Decks, flashcards, card images, study sessions, streaks, objectives, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (for example, sharing a deck as a CSV or JSON file).
Flash Study includes an optional feature that generates flashcards using Anthropic's API. If you choose to use it, you provide your own Anthropic API key, which is stored only on your device in the iOS Keychain. When you generate cards, the source text you provide is sent directly from your device to Anthropic to produce the cards; Lipford Creations never receives or stores it. Anthropic's handling of that request is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. If you never use this feature, no data leaves your device.
None. Flash Study has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Lipford Creations operates no backend for this app.
All app data remains on your device and is deleted when you delete the app. You can also delete individual decks and cards at any time inside the app.
Flash Study does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new "Last updated" date.
