Lipford Creations built Gamely Tracker as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how. Gamely Tracker is designed to be privacy-friendly: your library lives on your device, and Lipford Creations does not operate any server that collects or stores your personal information.
The games, play sessions, playtime, ratings, notes, shelves, and other library data you enter are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device data framework. This information stays on your device unless you choose to back it up or import from a connected service (see below). Lipford Creations does not receive or have access to this data.
Gamely Tracker can import your game and playtime data from gaming platforms if you choose to connect them. Connecting an account is entirely optional, and the app works without it.
Any account credentials or tokens you provide are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device and are used only to communicate directly with those services to import your data. They are not transmitted to Lipford Creations.
To display cover art, release dates, genres, and other game details, the app looks up game titles using third-party game databases, including RAWG and IGDB. These requests contain only the game title being looked up — not your identity or personal information. Their use of any data they receive is governed by their own privacy policies.
Gamely Tracker lets you export your library and save backups, including to iCloud Drive, or share them yourself. These backups are created only when you choose to make them and are stored in your own iCloud or wherever you save them. Lipford Creations does not access your backups. Gamely Tracker does not sync your library across devices automatically.
If you enable them, the app can schedule local notifications (for example, for wishlist release dates). These are handled on your device.
Gamely Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Lipford Creations does not receive or store your payment information.
Lipford Creations does not sell, rent, or share your personal information. The only data sent off your device is what is necessary to provide features you choose to use — importing from a gaming platform you connect, or looking up game details — and that data is sent directly from your device to those services.
Gamely Tracker is not directed to children under the age of 13, and Lipford Creations does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We value your trust in providing your information. Account credentials are kept in the iOS Keychain, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
